How to become a member of Second Baptist Church

1. By profession of faith: Any person making a profession of faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior may be presented to the church for membership, with baptism as immersion to follow as soon as possible. When a disability hinders the safety of an individual in the ritual of baptism, or an unusual circumstance prevents participation in this ritual, this ceremony shall be waived.

2. By letter: Upon presentation of or pending the receipt of a letter of recommendation members of other Baptist churches of like faith and order shall be presented to the church for membership.

3. By experience: An applicant membership who desires to be received upon his or her statement of faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior and having been baptized shall be presented to the church for membership.

During the last part of our worship service, an invitation will be extended to those who wish to declare their faith in Chirst publicaly and unite with our church by baptism, letter, or statement.
