Mission Moments for May, 2012
God has certainly blessed us with the most gorgeous spring! Let’s remember to praise him for this and all of our mission projects as we go forward this month doing his work beginning with:
- Collecting Memorial Day Rest Stop supplies: small bottles of water, coloring books and crayons. We also need volunteers to assist with the Route 85 South Rest Stop.
- Week of Prayer for Associational Missions is May 13 – 20th with the ingathering on May 20th. Our goal is $1,250. There are marked envelopes in your individual offering boxes, they will be also be available in the pew racks. This is a very special, needy offering for our association operations. Please be in prayer for this offering and give as God directs you.
- Once again, baby bottles from the Pregnancy Support Center of the Tri-Cities will be available Mother’s ay, May 13, to help us support this ministry. Please take a bottle, fill it with your spare change, dollars or checks and return them Father’s Day.
- WMU joint meeting of WMU with Marcia Richardson Prayer Group and Dotson Barnes Group will meet May 6 immediately following morning service.
- Please keep our youth busy with the manufactured coupon clipping, also the recycled bin in the back parking lot of the church needs lots of paper feeding, please feed it full of paper for missions!
