Up one levelMusic has always been an important part of Second Baptist Church. Listed are opportunities available for participation.
Sanctuary Choir
Sanctuary Choir rehearses on Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. in the choir room. This choir is responsible for the special music on Sundays and presents a Christmas Cantata the third Sunday in December at 5:00 p.m.
Handbell Choir
Handbell choir rehearses on Wednesday after the Sanctuary Choir rehearsal and sometimes rings for Sunday services and special programs.
Young Musicians Choir
Young Musicians Choir includes youth and children and rehearses on Sunday from 9:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. in the children's department music room. They sing on Sunday mornings from time to time throughout the year and present a program during the Christmas season. Another ministry of this choir is singing at nursing hmes.
